The Posthar­vest Tech­nol­ogy Cen­ter (http://​posthar​vest​.ucdavis​.edu) rou­tinely sources fresh pro­duce from Gen­eral Pro­duce, both for cater­ing needs and for posthar­vest research. We count on Gen­eral Pro­duce to pro­vide us the fruit and veg­etable prod­ucts with the specs we need.

GP also gen­er­ously and expertly hosts many stu­dent groups from U.C. Davis who are learn­ing about the prac­ti­cal han­dling and mar­ket­ing of fresh pro­duce. The Posthar­vest Tech­nol­ogy Cen­ter is pleased to have tech­ni­cal staff from GP in our work­shops and sem­i­nars on fresh pro­duce.
