Order Selector, Swing Shift
Job Title: Order Selector, Swing Shift
Job Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly), Regular Full Time
Benefits: Health Insurance, Vacation/Sick Leave, and Retirement
Primary Purpose:
The Order Selector, Production/Swing Shift selects products in the warehouse and other areas to satisfy customer orders. He/she also receives and stores products within the warehouse and surrounding areas.
Essential functions:
1. Read customer orders to determine items to be selected and gathered.
2. Select and move products for each order from refrigerated rooms in the warehouse and other areas.
3. Assemble ordered products by customers and place orders in stacks.
Qualifications:
1. Ability to work in a team environment.
2. Must possess exceptional work ethics and dependability.
3. Ability to learn to operate forklifts and other material transport machines.
4. Ability to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Education and Experience:
High School graduate and 1 year experience in produce warehouse environment preferred.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
1. The employee is regularly required to walk for most of the shift. Employee must also sit and talk or hear.
2. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
3. The employee must regularly lift, push and pull, and move up to 50 lbs.
4. Employee is required to stoop, kneel, or crouch and handle a hand truck loaded with cases of produce.

Freight Coordinator
Job Title: Freight Coordinator
Employee Status: Exempt/Salary, Regular, Full-time
Benefits: Vacations & Sick Leave, Full Medical & Retirement
Primary Purpose:
The Freight Coordinator facilitates, secures and coordinates direct in-bound freight for products purchased at competitive rates.
Essential Functions:
1. Coordinate purchases, hire carriers and dispatch carriers.
2. Effectively load trucks to fullest capacity to ensure freight rates are at lowest cost per case.
3. Manage loading process at the pick-up points to assure timely receiving of product.
4. Monitor current transportation rates to keep company competitive.
5. Participate in setting carriers’ standards and policies.
6. Monitor insurance requirements mandated by company.
7. Review and monitor contract agreements.
8. Negotiate freight credits as needed for damaged product, late trucks, etc.
9. Purchase assigned products.
Sample of Qualifications:
1. Current produce license to purchase produce. No PACA restrictions on that license.
2. Effective written and oral communications.
3. Proficient in Windows-based computer applications and computer research skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
5. Ability to work as part of a team.
6. Ability to adjust work to a changing environment.
7. Ability to be available after hours via phone to answer questions and problem solve.
8. Ability to perform the primary functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Education and Experience:
High School graduate required. Three years’ experience in the produce and transportation field a plus.
